City of Charleston to host public visioning sessions to help plan future of public art

The arts are as much a part of Charleston as palmetto trees, pineapple decor, and a steaming bowl of shrimp and grits.
The city’s active Office of Cultural Affairs is engaging its arts-aware public for with sessions for input on a new public art initiative.
The OCA says the sessions are open forums for Charlestonians to share input on how they’d like to see public art reflected in their communities. The city is inviting artists and community members to help shape the initiative during the forums.
