SCAC logo in cream and electric pink set in a black circle set inside an electric pink square box.The SCAC seeks a personable and organized assistant grants coordinator with experience in customer service, data processing, and arts administration. A successful candidate will have the ability to work closely with a broad cross-section of constituents to provide excellent customer service in support of SCAC programs and services statewide while serving as the primary customer service representative for all agency grant allocations. They will ensure accurate and efficient processing of grants from application to final report in a cloud-based grants management system. Under supervision of the grants manager, they serve as a member of the Arts Commission’s grants team and play a vital role in working with grantee schools, organizations, and partner entities and other constituents.

Select duties/responsibilities

  • Serves as primary customer service representative to internal and external constituents as the initial point of contact for grants-related information and assistance.
  • Manages department email communications and phone calls; responds to inquiries and/or refers them to appropriate staff member(s).
  • Manages electronic and physical files and records related to SCAC grantees and grants in accordance with the agency’s records management regulations.
  • Assists with composition and distribution of grants information to internal and external constituents.
  • Assists grants coordinator with preparation for and execution of grant review panels, both online and in person.
  • Manages grants office’s Zoom account administration.
  • Assists grants coordinator with constituent webinars.
