Leadership shuffle in motion for Redux

Next week, the leader of Redux Contemporary Art Center is taking on a new role for the organization to help it strengthen its financial position for the future.

Executive Director Kate Ledbetter will shift into the role of chair for its new development committee and oversee the “Bridge to the Future” capital campaign.

Maggie Jordan, current exhibition and studio director, will step into the role as interim executive director and take charge of day-to-day operations in addition to her responsibilities coordinating exhibitions and managing the studio program. Redux enlisted the services of Allegory Art Consulting to assist with the search for a new executive director and provide support to the Redux staff. A new committee will conduct a thorough search, and a formal application process is expected to be announced in coming weeks.

Those who might be interested, or know of a good fit for the role, are encouraged to reach out to edsearchcommittee@reduxstudios.org.

In a news release, Redux described Bridge to the Future as “… a three-year strategic growth campaign which will secure and sustain operations and grow Redux’s robust programming. Now in its 21st year, [Redux is] embarking on a fundraising campaign to support the organization and its outreach for generations to come.”
