FY27 grantmaking update from the SCAC

Official Statement from the S.C. Arts Commission

To ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, the South Carolina Arts Commission has temporarily paused all rolling grant programs, including Arts Project Support, School Arts Support, Accessibility, Emerging Artists, and The Art of Community: Rural SC. Rather than this month as planned, we anticipate opening these grant categories following action by the Board of Commissioners at its August 20, 2026, meeting. Updates will be posted on our website and The Hub once additional information becomes available.
