Call for sculpture for new Greer arts and events facility

The City of Greer has completed the renovation of a new facility, The Cannon Centre, which will be shared by the Greer Cultural Arts Council and the city’s Special Events division.  The city is providing up to $10,000 for the design, creation and installation of an outdoor sculpture for the facility. The arts council requests proposals from artists to re-create the organization’s logo as the sculpture.

Proposals should include a rendering or miniature, a list of supplies and/or materials to be used and any other important details. Proposal deadline is Jan. 15, 2013.
