Art to bring attention to child abuse, sustainability awareness

Two specific arts happenings coming in the next couple of weeks got The Hub’s attention, so we thought we’d share.

Upstate art exhibit highlights child abuse, sexual assault impact

An art exhibit opening Friday aims to bring attention to the impact of child abuse and sexual assault during National Child Abuse Awareness Month.

“Exhibit V – Believe” will be on display at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts through April 18, covering most of Child Abuse Awareness Month.

Runaway Runway returns to Columbia Museum of Art

Columbia’s most fashionable and sustainable event is back, reimagined.

Columbia Design League is bringing back Runaway Runway, revived, refreshed and re:constructed for 2026.

The show, set for April 18 at the Columbia Museum of Art, will feature models walking the runway in non-fabric, wearable art pieces created from non-traditional materials only by local and regional artists.
