The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has an opportunity for schools and families.

EEOC is launching a student art contest in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. It welcomes submissions of original artworks in all mediums, including drawings, paintings, photos, dance, songs, videos, poetry, essays, etc. The contest is open to all K-12 students who are residents of the United States. Artwork must be an original work created without the use of artificial intelligence—AI. Compose for musical theater

The Musical Theater Songwriting Challenge, presented by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) in partnership with the National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT), is a unique educational and professional development opportunity for high school students across the country to write and showcase musical compositions that could be part of a musical theater production.
