Hilton Head student set to compete in Poetry Out Loud

Amy Bredeson with the Hilton Head Island Packet interviewed Hilton Head Preparatory School sophomore Whitaker Gannon, who is one of nine finalists competing in the state Poetry Out Loud finals. Gannon credits her theatre experience with helping her prepare for the Poetry Out Loud competition.

The public is invited to attend the finals, taking place March 16 at the Columbia Museum of Art from 1 – 3 p.m.
