Artisphere vying for USA Today ’10Best’ title

Festival attendees flock to downtown Greenville for Artisphere.

Artisphere is once again in the running for USA TODAY’s 10BEST Readers’ Choice Award for “Best Arts Festival,” marking the third consecutive year the nationally acclaimed event has been selected for the competition.

Plans for the 22nd annual Artisphere, presented by Prisma Health, are well underway. As the festival prepares to welcome tens of thousands of art lovers to downtown Greenville this May, organizers say community support is needed now to secure the title they believe the festival has earned. Voting is open through March 2 at 11:59 p.m. EST, and supporters can cast ballots daily from multiple devices.

Artisphere Board Chair Michelle Seaver notes the significance of the recognition: “While we all know in our hearts that our hometown art show is the best, it is always validating to receive an accolade such as this that is voted on by the very people who come out to support the event every May.”

This marks Artisphere’s third consecutive appearance in the national contest, competing alongside some of the most celebrated festivals in the country. The event claimed the #1 spot in 2024 and ranked #5 in 2025. Seaver says the show is aiming to return to the top this year.
