Furman University’s McAlister Auditorium

From political debates to the Greenville Ballet’s annual performance of The Nutcracker, McAlister Auditorium is one of the most prestigious venues in Greenville.​ It serves as Furman University’s primary performance hall, with hundreds of concerts and events each year. With its superb acoustics and spectacular lighting, the 1,850-seat facility draws big crowds to watch orchestras, operas, musicals and other special events. Its features include a best-of-its-kind sound shell and float cloud system, a hydraulic orchestra pit, and a three-manual, 34-rank Holtkamp organ.
