Young musicians with disabilities invited to apply for Young Soloists Competition

Calling all musicians with disabilities! Are you between the ages of 14-25? Are you interested in winning $2,500 and performing at the Kennedy Center?

The 2016 VSA International Young Soloists Competition is now accepting entries. The competition is open to soloists and ensembles of up to five members, domestic and international applicants, and musicians of all genres. For ensembles to be eligible, at least one musician must have a disability, and all members must be between the ages of 14-25. Winners receive $2,500, perform at the Kennedy Center, and participate in exciting professional development activities.

All genres of music are accepted, including but not limited to classical, jazz, hip-hop, rap, rock/alt rock, pop, indie, bluegrass, folk, country, R&B/blues, Latin, and World.
