"Music at Oakland" is a community out-reach ministry of Oakland Ave. Presbyterian Church under the auspices of the OAPC Worship committee.
Music at Oakland is a community outreach of several concerts each year. The series includes church, local, regional, and national performers from various idioms. All concerts are free to the community. A freewill offering will be accepted towards future events.

The Winthrop Coliseum is located on the campus of Winthrop University and is home to athletic events and hosts music and comedy events.

DiGiorgio Campus Center
Within its walls are an array of facilities where members of Winthrop's myriad student organizations will hone their leadership skills, as well as amenities that will beckon the entire campus community to gather, relax, and learn more about each other and the world around them. In addition, Student Life staff offices also are located in the DiGiorgio Center to provide convenient points of service to students, along with the campus Post Office, and Winthrop Bookstore (Barnes and Nobles).

With a Main Library in Rock Hill, four branches, online digital branch, and outreach program, York County Library is a dedicated resource for education, recreation, and exploration for the residents and communities of York County.
As we continue to reconnect and recommit ourselves to meeting the needs of all library patrons, we have embraced the idea of "YCL" as a hub for learning, resources, materials, unique experiences, and most importantly, community.

Byrnes Auditorium provides music faculty and students with an outstanding practice, instructional, and recital space.
Faculty and student talent of the Department of Music, within the College of Visual and Performing Arts, is showcased here each semester at free, open-to-the-public performances. The Frances May Barnes Recital Hall, named for a 1915 alumna, is an excellent facility for smaller vocal and instrumental ensemble performances.

The Museum of York County highlights the natural history of the Carolina Piedmont and its connections to the rest of the world. The Naturalist Center with over 2,000 natural history specimens provides hands-on opportunities for self-guided discovery and educational programs. The Settlemyre Planetarium features the only full-dome digital planetarium in the Charlotte Metro area. The Vernon Grant Gallery features changing exhibits in visual art and highlights the work of Vernon Grant, an illustrator who garnered international fame as the creator of Kellogg’s “Snap, Crackle, and Pop.” Grant settled in Rock Hill and is the inspiration for the museum's Tot Town, Main Street Children's Museum, and Rock Hill's award-winning festival "Christmasville."
