Hub City Bookstore

The revolutionary Hub City Bookshop, an independent bookstore in downtown Spartanburg, is the home base of the award-winning Hub City Press and the Hub City Writers Project, founded in 1997 to foster a sense of community through the literary arts. This is one of a tiny few non-profit bookstores in the country, with all proceeds funding creative writing education and locally based publishing. There are frequent touring author events, a Writers Night Out, and a fresh inventory of new releases in fiction and nonfiction, children’s books and regional titles.
