South Carolina Artisans Center

The South Carolina Artisans Center is the state’s “official Folk Art and Craft Center.” The Center promotes the creative works of more than 300 juried artists producing exceptional quality work in every medium. Visitors will find one-of-a-kind garden sculptures, loomed shawls, hand-made jewelry, photography and sweet grass baskets while discovering the southern charm of the town of Walterboro.

The Center promotes the creative works of the diverse South Carolina artisans in a complimentary setting of historic homes, tree-lined streets, museums, antique stores, and restaurants. A visit to the Center and town will be a memorable experience.

The objective of the Center is to promote and highlight the vast diversity of South Carolina artisans and to showcase Walterboro as a place to visit and shop.
