Oakley Park Museum

A fine antebellum home, ‘Oakley Park’ was completed in 1835, in the Greek Revival style by Daniel Bird. The home sits at the crossroads of Highway 19 and Columbia Road, in line with the historic Edgefield courthouse and town square, just down the road.

The interior of the house is now a private museum exploring Edgefield’s special place in American history, from the wealthy antebellum planters and statemen of the 19th century to the 1940s when the home became a privately-owned museum.

Tours are available by appointment and Oakley Park welcomes you to reserve the home for luncheons and special events.
