Furman University’s McAlister Auditorium
From political debates to the Greenville Ballet’s annual performance of The Nutcracker, McAlister Auditorium is one of the most prestigious venues in Greenville. It serves as Furman University’s primary performance hall, with hundreds of concerts and events each year. With its superb acoustics and spectacular lighting, the 1,850-seat facility draws big crowds to watch orchestras, operas, musicals and other special events. Its features include a best-of-its-kind sound shell and float cloud system, a hydraulic orchestra pit, and a three-manual, 34-rank Holtkamp organ.
