Converse University’s Daniel Recital Hall
Blackman Music Hall is the home of the Carroll McDaniel Petrie School of Music – the nation’s only comprehensive school of music within a liberal arts college for women. Daniel Recital Hall is the centerpiece of Blackman, with upper and lower lobbies expanding its functionality. Daniel was cited by Chamber Music America as an exemplary performance facility and is ideal for the hundreds of chamber music concerts, recitals, seminars, and lectures held here annually. Daniel features a 27-rank, electro-pneumatic pipe organ built by Schantz, and beautiful murals align the auditorium walls.
