Colleton Museum and Farmers Market
The Colleton Museum & Farmers Market has a range of facilities under one roof. We have exhibits reflecting our local history & culture including The Civil & Revolutionary Wars, The ACE Basin Exhibit, Plantation Life, Colleton Life, Varn's General Store & a Children's Activity area. We also have a seasonal farmers market which is held on Tuesdays from 4pm-8pm and Saturdays from 9am-1pm.
In our general retail space which connects to the Colleton Commercial Kitchen, we have local produce & crafts available for purchase as well as gifts. We have a large outdoor green space for entertaining & event spaces for rental. Contact us to find out more or pay us a visit today!
AIR (Abundant Immersion Retreats)
AIR Walterboro is 39 acres of private farmland sure to enhance any event. We have great pastures, diverse forest, and 1.5 miles of winding nature trails with magical streams throughout. We pride ourselves in permaculture and outreach education initiatives, as well as, natural building/alternative construction methods, tree house/wildlife observation units, watershed re-nourishment activities and resource preservation practices. We welcome events, camping opportunities, and fieldtrips. Our forest trails are fit for horseback riding and biking, and we have 2 stages built for concerts, workshops, and performance art. It is our mission to provide space for all ages to connect with Nature in new and transformative ways, and encourage collaboration through creativity, education, and self-discovery through exploration and unity.

South Carolina Artisans Center

The South Carolina Artisans Center is the state's "official Folk Art and Craft Center." The Center promotes the creative works of more than 300 juried artists producing exceptional quality work in every medium. Visitors will find one-of-a-kind garden sculptures, loomed shawls, hand-made jewelry, photography and sweet grass baskets while discovering the southern charm of the town of Walterboro.
The Center promotes the creative works of the diverse South Carolina artisans in a complimentary setting of historic homes, tree-lined streets, museums, antique stores, and restaurants. A visit to the Center and town will be a memorable experience.
The objective of the Center is to promote and highlight the vast diversity of South Carolina artisans and to showcase Walterboro as a place to visit and shop.
