"Being awarded this fellowship allowed me time for personal development, experimentation, and artistic growth. Not only did I have the space and tools to be productive, but having a personal assistant/caregiver with me made it possible for me to make the trip from Chicago. It was great spending weeks doing something I love and is meaningful to me. This program is definitely leading others in the development of artists with disabilities.
