Indie Craft Parade is accepting artist applications for the sixth annual Indie Craft Parade, to be held September 18-20, 2015, in Greenville, S.C. Applications must be submitted before midnight EST on June 22, 2015, and will be accepted via the online form. Apply now! Indie Craft Parade presents The Makers Summit and Best Craft Party Ever

Join the folks from Indie Craft Parade in downtown Greenville on Saturday, Feb. 2 for The Makers Summit, a one-day business conference for the art, craft and design world. Attendees will connect with fellow creatives while learning how to start or grow their businesses, hear practical, real-life advice from industry experts and participate in collective discussions. A variety of topics will be covered, including marketing, establishing a business identity and expanding your market. The conference is being held at Zen, 924 S. Main St., and runs from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tickets are $100 and include a light breakfast, lunch, keynote sessions, panel discussions and one-on-one sessions with experts. The Makers Summit A dinner party, The Best Craft Party Ever, will follow from 7 pm - 11 pm. Guests will mingle with both peers and experts over amazing food and hands-on crafts. The Best Craft Party Ever is separate from the conference, and tickets are $50. You do not have to attend The Maker's Summit to participate in the Craft Party. Indie Craft Parade offering scholarship to a Greenville County school

The folks in charge of the Indie Craft Parade in Greenville, S.C., want to inspire the next generation of artists and crafters by partnering with schools and connecting students with local artists. They invite public and private schools in Greenville County to apply for a $500 scholarship to help fund an arts program for students. One scholarship will be awarded for 2012 to the school that best demonstrates both a need for assistance and a plan to further its art program. A scholarship would include partnering with Indie Craft Parade and might include demonstrations, assemblies, workshops or field trips. The recipient will be announced in December.
