Grants Roundup: Bye-bye, FY24

SCAC Deadlines and Coaching Opportunities

Grants Roundup header image modified for hiatus. A wooden lounge chair, back raised to a slightly reclined sitting position, sits on a white, sandy beach. It faces tranquil teal, turquoise, and deep blue water. Golden sun rays from a sunset reflect off the water.

That's a wrap for FY24.

The Roundup completed its mission as of May 16 when the final grant deadline in FY24 passed. The whimsical AI-generated image above is a gag; our grants team will remain hard at work for the foreseeable future, wrapping up this year and getting ready for the next.

But rather than make a weekly post about no news, The Hub sends Grants Roundup on hiatus for a little while. The SCAC's annual rolling-deadline grants will likely open in July, and we will announce those when they do. The Roundup, however, will most likely return in late July or August once other categories with hard deadlines open.

Get the latest on openings here, and also keep periodic tabs on the grants page on SouthCarolinaArts.com

Have a great summer!

Grants Roundup: Deadlines for the Week of May 13

SCAC Deadlines and Coaching Opportunities

Though not the only way, grants are among the main ways the SCAC accomplishes its work.

Because of their importance to that, and what they mean to so many of you, The Hub wants to help keep Arts Commission grants top-of-mind and reduce the number of times we hear people say, "If only we'd known about (X or Y) grant!"

Enter the Grants Roundup! On Mondays* during grant season, you can expect these highlights:

  1. what grants are due that week, then what's due later (in increments) before
  2. providing a rundown on open grant opportunities and then
  3. upcoming grants coaching sessions.

Current SCAC grantees and S.C. Arts Directory artists will be sent a digest-style email on the first Monday* of every month from September to (roughly) May.

*The Roundup might run on Tuesdays when state holidays occur on a Monday.
