State Library offers free grants information classes
The State Library announces three classes that are free and open to state employees, library staff and the public.
- Grants Research: Finding a Funder for Your Nonprofit Organization (Note: this class is now full, but the library will place you on a waiting list.) March 20, 9:30am-noon This class assists individuals locate information on grants available from private foundations and corporations using the State Library’s electronic and print resources.
- Proposal Writing Basics April 9 or May 22, 9:30am-noon This class will focus on what needs to be included in all your grant proposals.
- Introduction to the Foundation Directory Online May 1, 9:30am-noon Includes basic and advanced search techniques for using the Foundation Center’s grants database to find potential funders for your nonprofit.
