Montpelier Center invites submissions for first South-Atlantic Juried Exhibition
The Montpelier Center for Arts and Education in Montpelier, VA, invites professional artists residing in Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida to submit works for the first South-Atlantic Juried Exhibition. The exhibition takes place during the 17th Annual Celebration of the Arts being held May 3 – June 30, 2014.
Submission deadline is April 7, 2014.
Awards:
- $1,000 for Best in Show. Winning piece will be featured on the 2015 Celebration of Arts poster.
- $500, second place
- $250, third place
- $100, honorable mention
- $100 Edith Byrd Haller Award
Artists are invited to submit up to three works completed within the last two years and not previously shown at The Montpelier Center. Paintings, collage and hand-altered original photographs are eligible. All artwork must be for sale, as art sales will be encouraged.
