Gain hands-on arts administration experience with Spoleto Festival USA’s Apprentice Program

The Spoleto Festival USA Apprentice Program is a short-term, intensive and exciting opportunity to learn about the world of the performing arts and acquire hands-on experience under the guidance of professional arts administrators and technicians in producing an international arts festival. Apprentices work a minimum of 40 hours a week; long workdays and nights as well as weekends are typical. Housing, a small travel allowance, and a living stipend are provided.

Apprenticeships serve as an impressive addition to any résume and are available in eight categories:

  • Box Office
  • Development
  • Finance/Accounting
  • Media Relations
  • Orchestra Personnel Management
  • Production
  • Orchestra Operations

Applications will be accepted through Jan. 4, 2016. Spoleto Festival USA takes place in Charleston, S.C., May 27 to June 12, 2016.
