Florida marine life festival issues call for #SCArtists
An art-driven celebration of the oceans
Sharkapalooza is a two-day ocean conservation and arts festival brings together artists, nonprofits, scientists, educators, and the community to celebrate and protect our oceans.
It is looking for artists inspired by sharks, oceans, marine life, and conservation to join us March 20–21, 2027, at St. Pete Pier – Spa Beach in St. Petersburg, Florida. Talented individuals are invited to showcase ocean- and shark-inspired artwork, handmade goods, and original products. If you create it and the ocean inspires it, we want to see it. All work must be ocean conservation, animal conservation, and/or environmental themed.
Accepted mediums include, but are not limited to:
- Painting and illustration.
- Sculpture and mixed media.
- Photography.
- Digital art.
- Functional art (as long as it remains on theme).
Artists can learn more and apply at Sharkapalooza.org.
