Days of rain, potential flooding predicted for much of S.C.
Tropical Storm, née Hurricane, Debby appears to be setting up camp over South Carolina this week, and many of our constituents are on alert.
This is a periodic reminder to readers that the South Carolina Arts Commission has resources for disaster preparedness and recovery on our website.
Natural and other disasters in recent years gave us ample opportunity to hone these, and we have promote the need for preparedness from time to time. It is our hope that these tools have enabled constituent organizations, and even artists, to create a disaster plan that will help facilitate functioning during an emergency and recover afterward.
Our hope is that the worst predictions do not come to pass. Please advise the appropriate program director of any damages or difficulties that you encounter so that we can help as we can.
