Call for artists and makers: Crafty Feast accepting applications

Crafty FeastCrafty Feast – the largest juried indie craft fair in the Midlands region of South Carolina – is accepting vendor applications until July 31, 2016, for its annual show, to be held on Sunday, December 11 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in Columbia, S.C. Makers can apply at www.craftyfeast.com.

Drawing crowds of more than 2,700 guests, Crafty Feast brings together more than 100 innovative artisans and makers from across the Southeast – and from as far away as Michigan and Mississippi – for a one-day show in one of the capital city’s largest and most comfortable venues. Since 2009, Crafty Feast has been produced annually by the local, woman-owned creative firm, Flock and Rally.

Crafty Feast vendors sell handmade, inventive goods, and no resellers of any kind are permitted. Past vendors have featured popular items such as hand-dyed indigo napkins; locally made grass-fed beef jerky; black tea & bergamot soy candles; intricate, hand-sculpted diorama necklaces; unique baby bibs; hand-turned woodwork; original fine art prints, repurposed clothing; blown-glass bead jewelry; and more. All items sold at Crafty Feast are of the highest quality and integrity.

In an effort to support small businesses and independent artisans, Crafty Feast application submissions are free. Vendors are chosen through a selective process conducted by a jury of regional artists and creative industry leaders. Selected vendors will be notified by September 2016. Crafty Feast booth fees are $100 per 10 x 10’ space.
