Art & Light Gallery is pleased to present Where Wild Things Grow a solo exhibition of work by Alicia Armstrong (Asheville, N.C.) launching on the Art & Light website and in the gallery at 10 a.m. (Eastern Time) Tuesday, June 3. Opening reception on Friday, June 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. Alicia Armstrong’s work is driven by curiosity and an intuitive exploration of color, texture, and form. Using brushes, palette knives, and brayers, to layer oil paint, Armstrong creates compositions that evoke the essence of the landscape while blurring the line between abstraction and representation.
