Through the Eyes of Children – Adventures in Watercolor
Columbia Art Center offers Through the Eyes of Children – Adventures in Watercolor February 2 – 23. Children ages 7 through 12 will be introduced to the world of painting through the medium of watercolor. Students will learn to gain control over their tools, learn the basics of working in the medium of watercolor and how to layer and work with dimensions. Students will complete a finished work on their own using all of the techniques learned. Registration fee of $50 includes instruction, supplies, materials and operating costs. Class size is limited to a minimum of six and maximum of 12. Children are divided by ages 7-9 in one group from 11 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. and ages 10-12 in a second group from 1:30 – 3 p.m. Classes are held on Saturdays.
