When the Herdmans, the worst kids in town, somehow wrangle the leading roles in the local Christmas pageant, it seems everything that is sacred will be lost. Yet, through this motley rough and tumble crew, the true meaning of Christmas is movingly rediscovered. Charleston Stage presents The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, adapted from Barbara Robinson’s contemporary Christmas classic, December 14th and 21st at 10 a.m., at The Historic Dock Street Theatre.
