SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities Accepting Applications for 2026-2027

The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities (SCGSAH), a top-ranked, tuition-free public high school, is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 residential high school and summer programs. SC residents in grades 6-11 are encouraged to apply online at SCGSAH.org.

The residential program serves grades 10-12 with pre-professional training in creative writing, dance, drama, film, music, and visual arts, along with a rigorous academic curriculum. The school boasts high SAT/ACT scores, prestigious college scholarships for graduates, and top rankings from Niche, including “Best High School for the Arts in SC.”

The priority application deadline for all programs is January 10, 2026. Interested families can register for a “Go Govie! Day” campus tour on Nov. 1, 2025 or Jan. 10, 2026.
