Public Art RFQ: Mecklenburg County East Community Resource Center

The Arts & Science Council (ASC) is accepting qualifications from artists/artist teams for a public art opportunity at the Mecklenburg County East Community Resource Center, Charlotte, North Carolina. The selected artist will work with the ASC, Mecklenburg County Asset and Facilities Management, Gensler, LandDesign, and the communities of East Charlotte, NC to create landmark, integrated artworks that draw inspiration from the adaptive and life-sustaining qualities of the site’s surrounding wetlands and support the physical and psychological needs of visitors.
