Phoebus Ensemble “Gone with the Winds”
Carolina Music Museum in Greenville presents Phoebus Ensemble’s “Gone with the Winds,” January 23rd. You’re invited to be swept away by the fiery, romantic music created by woodwinds & a keyboard. Virtuoso vigor will be demonstrated by soloists of national & international acclaim in this intimate gallery venue. Katherine Needleman is Principal Oboe of the Baltimore Symphony & is one of the most sought-after oboists in the world. Igor Begelman is a clarinetist of virtuosity & imagination, both of which have earned him an impressive list of prizes, including the Avery Fisher Career Grant. Larisa Gelman, current VP of Community Impact at the Peace Center, is an accomplished & dynamic performer of the bassoon, featured in performance at home & abroad. Lisa Kiser, soloist & chamber musician, has been awarded impressive prizes both in her native Korea & the US.
