FELT Expressions, a Fiber Art Exhibit by Cecilia Ho

“Felt It. Love it. Treasure It.” Memories are created through the process of felting. With natural fibers, felt can be handcrafted in a range of formations, shapes, textures & colors. FELT Expressions, a fiber art exhibit by Cecilia Ho, Greenville SC-based teaching artist, is on view July 2-28, 2021 at the First Floor Community Gallery at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts. Inspired by geodes, with especially colorful linings of banded agate, this collection of organic wool felt displays one of nature’s many creative expressions. Unique felt patterns are naturally formed by Merino sheep wool, Mulberry silk and TENCEL™ – cellulosic fibers from wood pulp, via the traditional wet felting, modern needle felting & nuno felting process.
