Creative Arts Workshop – Chalk Lettering with Jasmine Mullins
Chalk isn’t just for sidewalks or classrooms! This popular medium is perfect for learning lettering without stress. Local artist Jasmin Mullins will offer instruction on how to choose lettering styles and design principles for a layout, how to draw several different letter forms, how to add embellishments, flourishes, banners, and dimension to a design, and other fun lettering techniques using chalk and chalk markers. Participants will leave with a lettering guide developed by Jasmine and a display-worthy chalkboard. Materials provided. Saturday, April 23, 2022, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Fee: $20.
