Creative Arts Workshop – Botanical Gelli-Printing with Melissa Meverden

Calling all nature lovers! Local artist and educator Melissa Meverden will offer instruction on creating one-of-a-kind art by monoprinting on a gel plate with botanicals such as grasses, leaves, and flowers. Participants will use layers of opaque and transparent paint with a variety of botanicals to celebrate the unique textures and shapes of nature. The resulting papers are wonderful for framing as art or using in other crafts. Previous experience with gelli-printing is a bonus, but not required. Materials provided.
