Join Historic Columbia for a talk and book signing by Civil Rights photographer Cecil Williams. His new book, Injustice in Focus: The Civil Rights Photography of Cecil Williams, documents the Civil Rights Movement in South Carolina from the 1940s through the 1960s. In conversation with award-winning journalist Claudia Smith Brinson, Williams will discuss his role in the movement from the landmark case of Briggs v. Elliot to the aftermath of the Orangeburg massacre in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
