Columbia Baroque Virtual Concert: “Totally Telemann”

Columbia Baroque debuts its series of First Fridays: Free Concerts on Facebook and YouTube, with “Totally Telemann,” hosted by Peter Hoyt and featuring five Telemann Fantasias for solo gamba, violin, and recorder. The Fantasias for solo gamba were considered lost until they were rediscovered in a private collection in 2015. The artists of Columbia Baroque – Gail Ann Schroeder, viola da gamba; Mary Hostetler Hoyt, baroque violin; Erika Cutler, baroque violin; and Jean Hein, baroque recorder – play from their homes to yours. With a purpose of providing musical accompaniments for an after-dinner beverage or dessert, with this concert series, Columbia Baroque brings you Music for the Comforts of Home. The “Totally Telemann” concert is October 2nd from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
