Call to Artists: RFQ for Site-Specific Public Art in Clemson

The Arts Center Of Clemson has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Implementation of Site-Specific Public Art for Dockside Development Project in Clemson, SC. Coming Fall of 2022, Dockside Clemson will offer student housing units in four-story residential structures alongside ground-floor retail. The site is a unique, exciting and prominent location. Dockside will offer an upscale living experience with fully furnished units. Additionally, the retail space will boast two signature restaurants. Dockside Clemson sits on approximately 460 feet of waterfront on Lake Hartwell and is the only student housing community with waterfront access in Clemson. Situated less than one-mile north of Clemson Tiger’s famous ‘Death Valley’ football stadium. Three exterior sites have been identified for public sculptures that may be created by one artist or a team.
