CANCELLED: Call for Entries: Sculpture on the Town
Note: The Morganton Cultural Arts Commission announces the postponement of the 2025 Sculpture on the Town call for artists, as well as any new installations.
The Morganton (NC) Cultural Arts Commission (MCAC) top priority is to implement public art into public spaces. This project aims to increase community interest in art and offer artists a unique opportunity to showcase their sculptural works. Max of two entries per artist. Open to artists 18 years or over able to complete requirements as specified. Project to safely conform to circular concrete base of 10ft, min/max size is 10-15ft, permanent in nature, capable to withstand adverse weather, maintenance free and able to be installed and removed by artist. Projects can be submitted by individuals or individual representing a group.
