Black Pearl Sings!

Presented by Charleston Stage at Dock Street Theatre, 135 Church Street. In parched, depression era Texas, two women from vastly different backgrounds discover common ground and conflict through song. Featuring a cappella renditions of many beloved American folk songs and spirituals, like “This Little Light of Mine,” “Troubles So Hard,” “Kum Ba Yah,” and “Pay Me My Money Down.” Mar. 9, Mar. 11-12, Mar. 17-19, Mar. 24-26 at 7:30 p.m. and Mar. 13, 20 and 27 at 3 p.m. $36-$70 for Adults, $34-$70 for Seniors (60+), and $32-$70 for Students (Ages 3-25) and Active Military.
