Beyond the Edge
Art Exhibition featuring Ana Vizcarra Rankin & Lindsay Godin opens April 4 at GCCA’s Main Gallery
The Greenville Center for Creative Arts (GCCA) presents Beyond the Edge, featuring nationally recognized artists Ana Vizcarra Rankin and Lindsay Godin. Their work reimagines how we perceive space—both earthly and cosmic. Opening with a public reception in their Main Gallery on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 6-9 p.m., the exhibition runs through May 28, 2025. Admission is free for this event.
Rankin’s large paintings and drawings expose the biases in maps, revealing their role in shaping power and place. Godin’s “Futurisms” photography series explores humanity’s fascination with claiming the unknown, from ancient stargazing to space exploration. Beyond the Edge is supported by media sponsor TOWN.
