Augusta Ballet presents Viva MOMIX
MOMIX is a company of dancer-illusionists that has, for 40 years and in over 22 countries, transported audiences from their everyday lives to a fantasy world through its trademark use of magical lighting and imagery. In an endless search for another gravity, Artistic Director Moses Pendleton combines athletic dance, riveting music, outrageous costumes, inventive props and pure talent to create an entertaining multimedia experience designed to surprise, enchant and astonish. Augusta Ballet presents the company’s Viva MOMIX, a mix-and-match variety of sections from different pieces performed by the company: Botanica, Alchemia, Remix, Opus Cactus, and Lunar Sea. Small vignettes make up the two-act production, mixing traditional MOMIX styles of illusion, beauty, magic, fun, and inventiveness. The performance is March 5th at Miller Theatre in Augusta, Georgia
