In her exhibit, Mad World, North Charleston’s July-September 2025 Artist-in-Residence Kenish Harmon marks the launch of an ongoing Mad World series. It is a satirical collection of works that confront the chaos of our times. These pieces lay the foundation for a broader narrative that critiques global and national governments, epidemics, paradox and social justice. It’s going to be a mad world. This exhibit is presented as the conclusion to Kenish’s three-month residency in the Artist-in-Residence Studio in the Park Circle Community Building and features several new pieces created during the residency period. A free artist talk will take place Friday, September 29 from 5-6 p.m, followed by a free public reception from 6-8 p.m.
