S.C. Artisans Center makes annual call for entries

Each September, we seek to represent South Carolina artists and showcase the outstanding talents of our state!

Housed in a restored eight room Victorian cottage, the center showcases over 300 of the finest Carolina artists, emphasizing traditional and indigenous folk art and contemporary crafts.  It features educational exhibits, craft demonstrations and live performances by artists.

Applications can be submitted online application Sept. 1-30. Art will be juried in two stages.

In the first stage, digital images of submitted work will be reviewed and evaluated. Artists selected for the second stage will submit actual tangible work for final evaluation. The second stage will take place at the SC Artisans Center in Walterboro. Each artist will be required to present five pieces of work.
