Lecture: Sounds of the Mardi Gras Belt

You are invited to a free, 30-minute public lecture from one of the University of South Carolina School of Music faculty members, Emily Allen. “Sounds of the Mardi Gras Belt” will take place on Sunday, August 23 in the School of Music recital hall at 3 p.m. This is part of the Society for American Music’s Sounding the Nation at 250 initiative.
