The Griot & Grey Owl Black Southern Writers Conference returns to downtown Durham, North Carolina this weekend.

Awaiting you are three days of workshops, panels, performances by award-winning authors and poets, including SCAC Spoken Word/Slam Poetry Fellow Marlanda Dekine (’23) and Governor’s Award for the Arts recipient Glenis Redmond (Artist Category, ’20). The Black Southern Book Fair will be open throughout.
