Carlisle Street Holiday Art Stroll
Annual Art Stroll featuring original paintings for sale by 40 Columbia artists, including Laura Spong & Guy Lipscomb, two SC Governor’s Award Winners, at OTM Gallery. Stroll two consecutive Saturdays and a Thursday evening, an evening which pays homage to how this Capital City tradition began… One night in November, over a decade ago, painters in communal studios on Carlisle Street adorned their canvases and gallery walls, invited friends & family to gather and neighborhood mantels were transformed overnight. Hence the lore of the Carlisle Street Art District began, a single block which has grown from three to eight creative small businesses, which are 100% locally woman owned.
