Wofford College’s Leonard Auditorium

Leonard Auditorium is the primary auditorium on the campus of Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Located in the historic Main Building, it was originally the college’s chapel and was renamed in 1946 to honor the long service of alumnus, clergyman and trustee the Rev. Henry C. Leonard.

The auditorium serves as the central hub for campus life, hosting a wide variety of events including Opening Convocation, guest lectures, cultural panel talks, and musical performances like the Dunlap Chamber Music Series. It is also the traditional venue for the college’s seasonal spiritual services, such as the Orientation Sunday Service and Candlelight Carols.
