St. Philip’s Church

The St. Philip’s Choir is a multi-generational auditioned choir of some 30 -35 singers, including staff singers and volunteers.

The St. Philip’s Choir leads music at the 10:30 service each Sunday year-round, except for Children’s Choir Sundays. Special services include Rally Sunday (the Sunday after Labor Day), Lessons and Carols (3rd Sunday of Advent), Christmas Eve 10:30 p.m. service, Epiphany, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and of course Easter Day, when the choir sings at both the 9:00 and 11:15 services. The choir also sings Evensong twice each year.

The choir’s repertoire spans music from the Renaissance period to contemporary anthems of today. Each Sunday, the choir sings an Introit and an Offertory anthem
